In his latest series 'Celebrities', Zhu Fadong decides to break multinational logos into minuscule fragments – a technique reminiscent of embroidery. This meticulous and arduous technique raises various questions, especially when he combines these logos with a mix of big stars, everyday people or with himself transferred in a woman’s body. Zhu Fadong questions the relation between men and consumer society and what is possibly left of our own identity.
