In her latest series 'Angel', Cui Xiuwen employs a teenage girl with a face like her own, dressed in a white dress, she is still fresh and innocent. Dwarfed by the towering red walls of the Forbidden City or multiplied, she is helplessly alone and confused. 'The white shirt was always so white, white even in dreams, and yet it also created the pressure that was not exactly so white and pure'.
